What I meant to convey, was that you can do amazing things with both coins, shells, gaffs, gimmicks, etc. Like the Flash! haha.

Also, Ponta didn't create that routine, but was performing it in that video.

lol... if you can't do amazing things even with gimmicks/gaffs in your possession, you're not worth being a magician... my point was that shells are overrated, and should not be used all the time if at all( i like to keep my magic as clean as possible, and gaffs aren't as clean as i like them). i know ponta was performing it... i simply said he didn't create it... sheesh... read over everything before you post or you risk misunderstanding me again...

Why not? They let you achieve effects that are otherwise not possible. A lot of skill goes into working with shells, you know. They're not some 'easy way out'.

Yes, and you're misunderstanding me. I was affirming that he didn't create it, only that he performed it.

that's what you said... and i simply agreed by saying that if you still can't do amazing things then you can't be a magician( "you" being a relative term, not specifying anyone and thus i was not being mean).

again... YOU misunderstood me... what i said was meant to ellaborate that i already know that from the beginning, and the part where i said to be careful not to misunderstand me was not misunderstanding that particular part...

bottom line, i don't really like shells cause i'm new in coin magic, and i know Ponta can do a lot of things with a coin or things that holds the shape of a coin.

Everything i say in the forum is meant with a friendly/constructive tone, i do not plan to offend anyone and if anything i said offended you, i'm sorry.
