White Lions or V6?

Hey everyone!

I'm reaaalllly tempted to buy the V6 cards but also the white lions. Which one would you chose and why? Thanks!

White lions, of course. Lions are the best playing cards in the world and are more rare than Smoke & Mirrors. In my opinion Blain deserves it more than the Buck twins too. He keeps magic alive while they and their artists are somewhat killing it. ;)

But if we compare their faces and back designs then V6 would win, in my opinion.

Is there any difference between V5 and V6 besides the back color? If not, White Lions win for 1000% instead of only 500%.

Lions any day of the week

Kelan 08-22-2011 10:08 PM

Good, because I have 5 v5's already :P

Alexander 08-22-2011 11:01 PM

v6's deep red is smexy, so please calm down guys :)

Randy 08-22-2011 11:03 PM

I would go for the Lions m8.

TommySteal 08-22-2011 11:28 PM

Lions

Kelan 08-22-2011 11:28 PM

Yeah, I'm learning towards the Lions

TheMisdirectingHand 08-22-2011 11:50 PM

Cats! I mean Lions, of course.

la0o9 08-22-2011 11:54 PM

lions, the v6 is just a paste and copy of v5 and then repainted, back designs and such aren't even as good as the Lions'( don't know about handling tho, never tried them before)

Kieran Oloughlin 08-23-2011 08:48 AM

I have neither, so...... card tricks!

jaredmadison99 08-29-2011 05:29 PM

they are both AWESOME decks but I would have to say V6

ItsMagicITellYou 09-03-2011 05:07 PM

the v6 looks waaaaaay better, but the lions apparently handle better

la0o9 09-03-2011 05:15 PM

what the heck do you mean v6 looks better? it's 2 "D" written back to back + a few lines and dots on a red/orange/brown background, while the lions are similar to that of a bee with borders, all on an elegant white background... when i put it that way... it's hard to determine which is cooler, but i personally adore bee's back design so i'm biased towards Lions...

This made my day. I get why people think they look good, but... there is no single 'D' in my name nor in 'street/close-up magic' nor in any famous casino's name I'm familiar with other than in the middle of names or words like in 'Golden Nugget' and 'card magic'.

There is no way I can explain to my spectators why there are two D's on the backs of the cards I use, or in case it wouldn't actually be D's but some shape instead, what it actually is... apart from a fairly rare deck of cards by people who are practicing a different kind of art than me.

It's just too branded in my opinion. I know, my own upcoming deck has M's and S-looking shapes on the back as well, but at least you can say it stands for '(Super) Street Magic' or something else, rather than being stuck to 'Dream Deck'. ;)

Miracles shall be placed into my possession. ;)

la0o9 09-03-2011 11:39 PM

i've just realized... smoke and mirrors are abbreviated as S&M... sadism and masochism... and they have about 6 versions of them...

TheMisdirectingHand 09-03-2011 11:47 PM

Well, looks like Albert and Trav have rubbed off on you...
