Theory 11 or Ellusionist
 

Hi Guys. I have seen a couple of posts about Theory 11 and Ellusionist on here and was wondering though which company you prefer. Based on everything they do. Not just the decks they bring out or the stuff they give away. Everything. For example, a couple of days ago before the Monarch decks were officially released. They released some special edition series of them (not really sure what they were) of the monarch deck. People must of been awake all night because my friend tried to get one and apparently they sold out in 90 seconds. Not positive if that is true but what I do know is that in that space of time when those special ones were available, you were not shown what you were buying. No pictures at all. I'm not so fond of that idea and it seems allot of people on You-Tube and Facebook weren't either. I think I prefer Ellusionist more to be honest but I thought it would be interesting to see what you guys think. :)

If you would have asked me this a year ago, I probably would have said Theory11. However, T11 now does so many unacceptable things that I really like Ellusionist better now. At least E stays much more consistent in what they do and how they do everything, so you know what to expect, and it has been like that since I have been in magic..

That said, I'm not that fond of either of them. But yeah, if I would have to choose it would clearly be Ellusionist. Theory11 lifted the term 'overly commercial' to a whole new level.

Despise em' both, but I pick E.

I don't particularly hate Ellusionist since I haven't encountered personally anything that was really bad about them. Theory11 deserves to be in a garbage dump. The moment Aaron Fisher and Lee Asher left, Theory11 should have ended.

Thus, I pick Ellusionist.

I don't think siding with a specific company is such a great idea, so I've always sided with individual artists. I like Danny Garcia, Wayne Houchin, Patrick Kun, and Jason England, from what I've seen of them anyway. Theory11 or Ellusionist? Not much of a preference.

i like E for their video products and T11 for their cards( since some of the designs are really nice), but personally, i like E better, since they have yet to receive any bad comments from this board( well, none that i remember or know of)

I like MJM for the simple fact that to me, it pretty much seems like an endless library of great wonders.

I have to side with Ellusionist, because the way they posted their videos I was able to figure out many many many of their tricks.

Thanks to E I was able to unroot "two foot levitation", "object through an object", the old shoelace trick and many other quickies that snap faces

Ellusionist of course.

You guys make it sound as if there's only two sites worth buying magic from. What about the rest?

We aren't really saying those 2 are the only sites Tommy :)

We are just seeing which site out of the 2 we favour more over the other :grin:

I like Ellusionist. They are honest :)

Though Ellusionist can overprice their material a bit, they're still more honest than E.

I suppose E = T? :p
