Hey guys,

I was wondering what is the name of move when you're holding top card and flipping all deck except top card. I think you've got an idea? Flipping all deck except top card.

Thanks.

Erm.. I know of an effect that inverts the deck except the selected card in the middle.. but idk about the top card.. :/

It depends on what you mean by 'flipping'. I suppose you don't mean a flourish in which the deck visibly gets flipped 180 degrees while holding on to the top card, right? If you mean that you secretly turn over the entire deck apart from the top card, you most likely mean a 'Half Pass'.

Hmm.. well there is also the Visa move by Kevin Ho I think, that fits the description... I think

This video apparently features the "Visa" move.. If it's the switch at the start I think it looks awful and draws suspicion unnecessarily. If it's the deck flip at the end it's pretty simple and is taught in several places. I think I learnt a Jay Sankey handling. Not sure what it's called though, sorry :(

Is it a production? if it is, there's a half deck flip where the selected card appears turned over in the middle of the deck, it's called "Rev-e-la-cion", but it is an idea of a Venezuelan magician and it's been never published.

A variation of the KM move could also accomplish the description (Not a double lift and then KM but a half deck lift and then km.)

well, from what i understand, what you're looking for would be a Half-Pass, it never was really taught anywhere in details( at least, not that i know of) because it's so easy you only need to look out for angles.

P.S: there IS one book that teaches a variation of the move, called Paper Engine, by Aaron Fisher.
